|cubic city laboratory
One of the most popular tourist locations within Cubic City, trainers of all types across the world come here in order to acquire their own unique starter. Once a small building with hardly few rooms, the Laboratory has grown with technology's advances and has since become more windows than sleek white walls. A professionally landscaped yard stretches out from the glass doors with trees lining the concrete walkways and providing lingering guests the perfect amount of shade to rest and relax as they watch new travelers come and go. Professor Pine is the head honcho at the Cubic City Laboratory, though you're more likely to locate her out in the field than stuck in the bustling halls of the laboratory. Consider yourself lucky if she's around to give you your starter Pokemon, else you'll have to settle with one of the numerous lab assistants loitering around the large main lobby.

Pokémon Centers can be found in every town and city in Jinoa. The stark, red-roofed Center stands out against the other buildings in Cubic City. There are a bunch of chairs in the main room where trainers can take a break while their Pokémon are healing up. The desk opposite of the front door is where a nurse and their Chansey take poké balls of injured Pokémon from their trainers and place them into health-restoring machines. Pokémon without poké balls, or Pokémon who are critically injured, are whisked into the one of the back rooms to be treated. There is a small Pokémart within the Pokémon Center that buys and sells items. There are rooms that trainers can sleep in free of charge, but they're encouraged to find other accommodations after a few nights so staff can clear up the rooms for other trainers in need.

Situated on the furthest edge of cubic city, several miles from the towering buildings, is an airport that spans several thousand acres and constantly bustling with activity from midnight to midnight. Following the creation of the Cubic City Laboratory, the airport exploded with the entrance of newcomers, trainer and tourist alike, eager to explore the region. Once past the strict security, heightened after the invasion of Team Rocket, one will find that the airport is primed with top of the line technology. With plenty of room to spare, the massive airport caters carefully to those passing through with rows and rows of over-priced food and private sleeping areas. For those with free time between flights, or with time to spare before they leave, the Jinoa airport also offers a museum, a shopping mall, a casino, several indoor gardens, a spa, and much more.

apartments are the most common form of housing in the city. most are built narrow and high-rise so that each building can accommodate many families without taking up too much space. the cost and the style of the rooms depends on which building you live in. many of them are costly, so there's always ads on the internet looking for roommates. the ones on the fringes of the city are the cheapest, but they're often at full occupancy because of the price.
